- It is usually not included. Campers will almost always need to provide their own transportation to the camp site although some camps now include airfare from the home city of the team only, or a discount for campers who provide their own airfare. Be sure to book your airfare as far in advance as possible as with fuel prices skyrocketing many are finding the airfare alone to be a significant portion of the trip cost. Q2. Can I bring my spouse? - In many cases spouses are welcome to attend some events, including the daily practices and games, but most camps have specific policies on bringing spouses to evening events, including additional fees for a private hotel room. It is always best to check with the camp promoter prior to booking your arrangements with a spouse. Several camps are now also offering separate accommodations just for campers who want to attend as fans only, not playing in the games but watching and then participating in the evening events with the big leaguers. Q3. What if I have very little baseball experience? Can I still attend the fantasy camp? - No experience is usually necessary, although campers who practice hitting and throwing prior to the camp generally have a better overall experience.
